The finalists for the Football Business Awards have been announced. See shortlist

We are delighted to announce that the finalists for the 2014 Football Business Awards have been decided. This year's shortlist includes most of the 2013/14 Premiership clubs as well as some from lower leagues and a huge variety of businesses, large and small, involved in football in one way or another. To see the full list of finalists, click here.

The Football Business Awards return to Stamford Bridge on 6th November for the 3rd year to recognise many of the unsung heroes behind the scenes who help to shape the whole football industry. The annual event is designed to celebrate successes and reward innovation off rather than on the pitch.

With an illustrious judging panel selected for their particular experience and expertise in the categories covered the FBA has grown into a significant annual networking event. With an impressively senior audience of 550 plus the awards are becoming more and more difficult to win, and an increasingly valuable marketing badge for those who manage to do so.

Highlights from The 2013 Awards

"These Football Business Awards are so important to the industry and the recognition that they bring to the leading operators in their various fields is invaluable. It is not only the many, diverse elements that comprise the business of Football that make it so compelling but also the constant need to adapt and change, to embrace the continual advances in sports science and technology that keep it so vibrant"
David Sheepshanks - Chairman of St George’s Park

"Congratulations on a truly sensational awards ceremony with an increased attendance on last year whilst delivering an actual uplift in quality in the room. With senior officials from a wide range of clubs and the best in breed businesses that serve them in attendance. I cannot recommend this event, nor praise the team high enough. You managed to raise the bar and put together an event of real quality, substance and style which is sure to become a permanent fixture within the diaries of all of the leading professionals within the football industry. Well done."
Dominic Jordan - Managing Director, Jordan Sports Partnerships

"A really good night and a great chance to network with other football clubs"
Paul Motion - Development Manager, Fulham Football Club Foundation

"Excellent evening! No complaints at all. Great food, well organised and well hosted."
Paul Gibson, Chief Executive Officer, PureNet
